Patriot Day at Worth Junior High

On the morning of September 11, the students of Worth Junior High, along with families, community leaders, and members of the Worth Police Department, as well as the North Palos Fire Department, gathered together before school to take a moment to think and reflect on the events of September 11, 2001.

Students and staff took the time to pay their respects to all the heroes who died on that day 16 years ago as well as to the heroes in our lives today who strive to protect and serve our community. Pictured is the Worth Junior High School Band who participated in the event by performing the Star Spangled Banner as well as a rendition of the medley Spirit of America.
