Pfizer Vaccine Now Approved for Children Ages 5 and older!

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have approved the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for kids ages 5-11.

Clinical studies have shown the vaccine to be safe and very effective, preventing 90% of symptomatic infections in children ages 5-11. Kids also had fewer side effects from the vaccine than teens and adults.

Anyone over the age of 5 years old can get vaccinated—it is free for all, regardless of insurance or immigration status.
