An Exciting Opportunity for Current Pre-K (entering Kindergarten in Fall 2025) through 7th Grade Students!

EdCamp, Unplugged is back!

EdCamp is an exciting learning opportunity coming this summer for all of our students who will be entering Kindergarten through 8th-grade in the fall!

Enthusiastic teachers from Worthwoods, Worth Elementary, and Worth Junior High will team up with professional math and reading specialists to teach math and reading through fun, active learning experiences that won’t require electronic devices. Each morning student groups will rotate through engaging math and reading activities that are planned and led by teams of teachers. These activities will lead to a deeper understanding of math and reading practices and build your child’s success and confidence. This is NOT a remedial class; it is an opportunity to learn math and reading in active and fun ways. Special emphasis will be placed on establishing a community of learners in which every student is supported and successful.

Dates: June 9-13 and June 16-18
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location: Worth Elementary, 11158 S. Oak Park Ave.

On June 17, 2025, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., we will host a Student / Parent Workshop Extravaganza where students will be able to share what they learned during EdCamp, and parents will have the opportunity to learn how to encourage their child’s math and reading skills.

No cost. No laptops. No supplies needed. It’s time to unplug!

Space will be limited, so be sure to sign up your student soon! Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The last day to register is May 9th, 2025.
